Welcome to Captify! Here are the steps to get started:
Turning on the glasses
- Charge your glasses by plugging the included cable into the USB-C port on the left temple of the glasses.
- Remember to unpeel the screen protector film from the lenses.
- Once your glasses are charged, unplug the cable and put on the glasses.
- Press and hold the power button on the right temple for 3 seconds. You will see the display turn on and see the words Captify.
Setting up the app
5. Scan the QR code in the instruction manual to download the app.
6. Sign in to the app by entering your phone number to get a verification code.
7. Once you're logged in, tap on "Bind" to connect to your Captify glasses.
8. Grant the required permissions to use Captify.
Starting Transcription or Translation in the App
9. In the main page of the app, tap Captify (in earlier versions of the app, tap Translate).
10. On the top, tap Transcribe or Translate to select the language. Tap Start to launch transcription or translation.
Starting Transcription or Translation on the Glasses
11. Press the button on the right temple once to turn on the screen.
12. Swipe forward or backward on the touch panel of the right temple to select Transcribe or Translate. Tap once on the touch panel to confirm selection.
13. Transcription or Translation should begin. The app needs to be connected to Captify in the background to work.
14. To exit, double-tap on the side touch panel.
Turning Off Your Captify
15. Press and hold the button on the right temple for 5 seconds.
16. When the power off confirmation screen appears, tap once on the touch panel on the right temple to confirm. Captify will power off.
