If your Captify Pro glasses aren’t showing any signs of charging, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue and get back up and running.
Before You Begin
Captify Pro only supports magnetic charging using the included magnetic adapter and USB-C cable. Direct USB-C charging is not supported.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
-
1. No lights appear when connected:
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to a power source (e.g., wall adapter, laptop, or power bank).
- Double-check that the magnetic charging adapter is firmly connected to the USB-C cable.
- Make sure the magnetic tip is properly aligned with the charging port inside the right arm of the glasses. It should snap into place automatically.
- Try a different USB-C wall adapter or port to rule out a power issue.
-
2. Orange LED light stays on and never turns green:
- This may indicate an incomplete connection or slower-than-usual charging.
- Remove and reattach the magnetic adapter to ensure it’s fully aligned.
- Inspect the magnetic tip for any debris or damage.
-
3. Glasses are completely unresponsive:
- Hold the power button (bottom of the right arm) for at least 2 seconds.
- If nothing appears on the display, wait 10 minutes while charging and try again.
Other Tips
- You can press the power button while charging to display the battery percentage if charging is working correctly.
- Charging a fully depleted battery may take a few seconds before the LED turns on.
Still Not Working?
If you've followed the steps above and your glasses still won’t charge:
- Try using a different USB-C cable or charging adapter if available
- Email us at support@captify.glass with a photo or short description of the issue. We'll help you troubleshoot or send a replacement adapter if needed.
