Captify Pro displays real-time captions directly on your glasses using AI speech recognition. Follow the steps below to start captioning.
Before You Begin
- Make sure your glasses are charged and powered on.
- Ensure the glasses are paired with the Captify app via Bluetooth. You should see the “Transcribe” and “Settings” menu on the glasses display when connected.
Check Bluetooth Connection
In the Captify app, look at the top-left corner:
- “Connected” under Captify Pro: You’re ready to go.
- “Disconnected”: Glasses are bound to the app but not currently paired. Turn on the glasses and ensure Bluetooth is on.
- “+ Add” button: Glasses haven’t been bound yet. See Binding Your Glasses to get started.
Start a Captioning Session
- On the Captify app home screen, tap the large Captify logo button in the center to begin captioning.
- The captioning screen will open, and captions will begin to appear both on your glasses display and in the app.
Pause or Resume Captions
- Tap the Pause button in the app.
- Or tap the side touchpad on the middle of the right leg of the glasses.
- Tap again to resume.
Stop Captions
- Tap Stop in the app to end the session.
- The full transcript will be saved automatically to your app’s session list.
Switch Languages or Enable Translation
- Tap the language button in the top-right of the captioning screen.
- Select the spoken language you want to caption.
- To enable real-time translation, toggle the switch and select a target language.
- Tap Okay to confirm.
